The location
When the weather gets cold, some Michiganders like to stay inside and dream of the summer months. Others, like our customer in South Haven, MI likes to dust off the vinyl collection and listen to his whole house audio system.
The only thing that was lacking was a dedicated home theater for the family that could also double as a listening room.

Our approach
The client wanted to have the rich look of dark wood throughout the home theater. We wanted to maintain the aesthetic of the room, so we chose to conceal the front speakers behind a grills that were built directly into the front entertainment center. While we were at it, we had the carpenter leave a cubby available for the subwoofer.
We complimented the front speakers with in-wall speakers on each side of the room. Then we installed in-ceiling speakers for the rear surround speakers. For the picture we chose a Sony 1080p projector, and a fixed 110" home theater screen.
